The work of the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute continues to transform lives. We are delighted to continue supporting such important contributions to the field of medicine, and congratulate Suzi Carp on the well-deserved recognition of her decades of service and leadership.
Suzi has been recognised for her distinguished service to health and medical research, to children and young people, and to the community through leadership roles. It is wonderful to have her outstanding contributions rewarded in such a distinguished and public manner.
Suzi has been a strong supporter and advocate of the Institute for nearly 20 years. In her role as MCRI’s first female Board Chair she championed people and initiatives that transform medicine, taking big, bold ideas and promptly translating them into real world solutions for patients, their families and the community. As a businesswoman and philanthropist Suzi has supported and empowered our most vulnerable citizens and communities, including indigenous communities, and pursued social justice both here in Australia and overseas.
