Extension Granted for Digital Signatures

This week, legislation was finally passed through both Houses of Parliament enabling companies to sign and execute documents, hold meetings, issue notices and keep minutes electronically through until March 31st 2022, with the plan to pass permanent reforms in the near future.
The difficulties posed by Covid-19 restrictions prompted companies to rethink how they do business, and legislators to institute reforms that give businesses the flexibility to comply with all their regulatory requirements safely and securely in the midst of a global pandemic.
