The 2018 Australian Mortgage Awards was one to remember with the Equity-One team joining over 650 mortgage professionals at Star Sydney to celebrate the winners of the Australian Mortgage Awards.

The evening was hosted by stand-up comedian Laurence Mooney, famous for his Malcolm Turnbull impersonations. Amongst other highlights was a death defying, yet graceful, acrobatic performance.

Thirty-one trophies were handed out on the night to the best brokerages, banks, non-banks, aggregators and brokers for their achievements throughout the year.
The event attracted the best-of-the-best including Dean Koutsoumidis of Equity-One, who pioneered non-bank lending over 20 years ago with a lending and investment proposition that has served hundreds of happy customers and built strong enduring broker relationships whilst rewarding investors.
Celebrating exceptional performance was the focus of the night with productivity essential in a competitive finance landscape. In recognition, Equity-One was proud to sponsor the Broker of the Year – Productivity Award which was won by Josh Bartlett of Loan Market Bayside.

Josh cites a personalised approach supported by an experienced team and deal management systems. Finding the right balance takes leadership, experimentation, and persistence before delivering customer and business success.
